What does Awakener's Orb do? ›

Awakener's Orb is a currency item. Using it on an item destroys the item, and allows the player to apply the item's influence to another item of the same item class.

They are used to access stronger, awakened variants of the four bosses. Apart from having higher stats, the bosses now absorb any stat drains and have new and/or modified mechanics in their fight. The orb can only be used once the quest Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire is completed.

Fractured items cannot be given an influence (Shaper/Elder/Elderslayers). However, they can have have Eldritch implicit modifiers on them. Fractured items cannot be influenced using Elderslayer's Exalted Orbs or Awakener's Orbs. Influenced items also cannot be fractured using a Fracturing Orb.

Awakener Orb Crafting. While modifiers of a single-Influence are strong on their own, the addition of the Awakener's Orbs allows items to have modifiers from 2 different Influences at the same time.

All you have to do with the Orb of Power now is to insert it into the Pillar of Power, which is located just outside the Mystical Cave you're in. Once the Orb of Power is in the Pillar on Dazzle Beach, go back to the Cursed Cave in the northeastern area of Dazzle Beach to speak with Ursula.

Awakener's Orb: This orb will combine two influenced items of a different influence together and create a new item with both items' influences. It will take up to one influenced modifier from both items (if they are available) when making the combination.

Chaos Orbs are a Cataclysm crafting reagent, mainly used these days by tailors to make Dreamcloth (since the craft doesn't have a cooldown unlike the other Dreamcloth crafts). Dreamcloth can be useful to make Cataclysm transmog items, not available by other sources.

An Orb of Transmutation is a currency item that can be used to upgrade a piece of normal equipment to magic.

Fractured items can have one permanent "Fractured" mod (up to three fractured mods for legacy items). Can you fracture a split item? ›

Fractured Fossil cannot be used on item that have Split modifier, or cannot be split due to game design, such as Synthesised, Enchanted, Fractured or Influenced items.

Awakener's Orbs now ignore Mastercrafting Metamods.

A Divine Orb will not change the tier of the affix; it will only re-roll within its current tier. When a Divine Orb is used on a legacy variant of a unique item, affixes will re-roll to the new range of values. When using on a magic or rare item, the affix will re-roll assuming the new range of the same tier.

The item level does not affect the possible unique items that can spawn when using an Orb of Chance.

A Bestiary Orb is a currency item that can store a captured beast. This allows the beast to be traded with other players.

An Orb of Fusing is a currency item that can be used to re-roll the links between sockets on a weapon or piece of armour. The colour and number of sockets remain unchanged.

Orbs of Chance are primarily applied to specific item base types to obtain a corresponding unique item, a process referred to as chancing. However, the resulting item is more likely to become a magic or rare item.
