you need to change the "enchant" entry in states.txt

The field itemtrans in states.txt provides the enchanted weapon color. If you changed the existing Enchant skill to a cold enchant, just change the color in this field from cred (crystal red). If you have a new skill and still need the old skill as it is, copy the "enchant" line in states, name the new line enchant2 and edit the color. You would need to go back to skills.txt and change the state reference as well. (Keep in mind you cannot have more than 256 lines in states.txt, as state IDs are allowed only one byte in compiled form.)

Then change the cast overlay which should be in skills.txt
