The Madlanga Commission has revealed a shocking revelation about the alleged involvement of suspended Deputy Police Commissioner, Lt-Gen. Shadrack Sibiya, in a bribery scandal. According to Lt-Gen. Dumisani Khumalo, the head of Crime Intelligence, Sibiya used one of his subordinates, Sergeant F. Nkosi, to collect bribe money from criminal cartels and notorious underworld figures. Khumalo's testimony was supported by CCTV footage and photographs showing Nkosi visiting the home of murder-accused businessman Katiso "KT" Molefe on November 27 last year. The footage shows Nkosi arriving shortly after 4 pm, spending less than ten minutes inside, and leaving with a large white paper bag while Molefe walked him to his official state vehicle, a white BMW.
