You can be granted a Fresh Start only once and the Fresh Start cannot be reversed. Your permanent record will remain a record of all work; however, courses taken and previously failed will be excluded from the calculation of the Quality Point Average (QPA) and your Grade Point Average (GPA).

What is the grade W in MTSU? ›

After the withdrawal deadline for each semester, you must submit a signed drop/add form to drop for individual courses. You will receive a “W” grade and no fee adjustment. After the withdrawal deadline for each semester, you can drop all classes on Pipeline or by clicking here through the semester Study Day.
