Donnell in Atlanta, Georgia in 1951. She won his heart with her captivating eyes, and they were married in 1953, in Oklahoma City. Miriam and William spent fifty-four years, happily, as husband and wife. They lived together in Oklahoma City for over fifty years, where they raised their family. Miriam was the beloved mother of four children, who were the center of her life.

She considered herself fortunate to have been able to stay at home to raise all of her children and considered it precious time. She taught Sunday School at a local Baptist church for several years. She enjoyed needlepoint and the friendly competition of the card game of which she still holds the winning title. Everyone who met Miriam was delighted by her. Everyone who knew her will treasure her memory forever.

She was a strong, brave and vigilant woman who had a big heart filled with generosity. She was genuinely unselfish, kind, forgiving, and warm hearted. She is survived by her devoted husband, William L. Donnell; her children, William L. Donnell Julian David Donnell, Michael Dennis Donnell, and daughter, Miriam Donnell, and their spouses.

She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Jessica, McKenzie, Christina, Geoffrey, and Dylan. Her surviving brother is John Jordan. She is preceded by her brother, Augustus Jordan, and sister, Julie Hayes. We are grateful for the invaluable time she spent with us, and pray that we are blessed with her gentle and altruistic qualities. Miriam was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
