hello there I am Cindy and I have a new forum from you which I love by the way. I have discovered this site http://www.ifate.com and wondered if I could widget on to my site which is http://spiritual.aforumfree.com ? Would it be all right and how would I put them on my site? Tarot, runestones and the lot. Its free as well so I just wondered if I could have permission and also how to put it on. Thanking you for reading this.
Happy Easter folks xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Cindy.
You wouldn't be able to 'widget' the forum to yours, like wise I don't think you need permission from this group. Perhaps if you feel it's necessary, it's more likely you'd want permission from the owner of ifate.com to perhaps add a link to them on your site - I couldn't see they'd object. Perhaps add a seperate Links page where you could add the url's of other similar sites.

Cindy, please refrain from using all caps, as this can be considered as screaming on the internet. Thanks!

@Cindy: If you are refering to those widgets, you can easily add them to your page without needing to ask for permissions. It's written on their site that they allow you to copy those codes.
1.) Copy the code from their site (the text in the grey box where it reads "<script ..." etc.)
2.) Go back to your forum. There are now several places where you can place this code. In one of your posts (HTML has to be enabled), in a forums description ("Forum / Management" in your Admin Panel), in your Portal as a module ("Modules / Portal / Portal Pages Management") or above your main forum page ("General / Homepage / Configuration / Homepage Message").
If you still need help for a specific option or something is unclear, feel free to post again.

That would be no problem at all. Just provide me with the link of the widget of your choice and where you want to place it on your board.

Cindy we are not mad at you and there is nothing to be sorry about. I was just stating the rules, as that is part of my job. No worries.

Ok, I'd say you should make one block for each widget, then you can later add, edit or remove them more easily. To create a block, go to "Modules / Portal / Portal Pages management / Structure" and click "create custom block". Give it a name and a title and set "table type" to yes. Copy and paste your widget codes into the "block source" field. Save and return to the structures page. You can find your newly created blocks in the "Addition/deletion of personal modules" part, where you can add them in a specific location of your portal.

Thank you so much indeed and god bless you too. Aww thanks you know I am very grateful and also its a great web creation that you have all done. I am so sorry that I sounded so thick. However, you can forgive me as I am a disabled lady and not done much with this sort of thing.
Bye for now and thanks for your patient.
