We are so sad and not ready to let go of our precious Samford Intern, Maddie. She went above and beyond during her time at ELI and was instrumental in helping us set forth new projects and ideas. She is headed back to Texas and will be greatly missed!

Happy National Intern Day to our outstanding Denver Scholarship Foundation Marketing and Communications Intern, Reyann Gallegos! 🎉She is a senior at the University of Colorado Denver majoring in Marketing and Psychology. As a first-generation and multicultural student, she recognizes the need to pave the way for students to come after her. She interned at DSF to continue to empower students to become who they want to be for themselves and their community. Reyann said, "I love the DSF culture. Learning new daily skills, meeting many people, and learning many aspects about the operations of DSF."Read more about Rey's story in this month's blog post! ➡️https://lnkd.in/gq-rHkJy

Intern Spotlight (and birthday shoutout!) for our very own Joshua Weidenfeller. When Joshua's friends ask what he does at work he says that he connects with healthcare leaders and facilitates meaningful conversations that help our team understand how we can best help our partners better understand their patients throughout their care journey. However, during lunch this summer, he found time to have some fun. One of his favorite NRC Health memories was having sandwich-eating competitions with fellow interns. Joshua thanks Business Development Manager, Dillon McKinney as one of his most impactful mentors. "Working on the type of accounts Business Development Executives work on has given me a unique perspective on how large deals come to fruition, and what it takes from a sales professional side to push the deal across the finish line."Joshua's Fun Facts: -His favorite book is Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne.-When he was younger he wanted to become a business owner, not in any specific area. -His favorite thing about going to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is how big the campus is. It is great for walking around, and there are many areas to sit and do homework. #NRCHealthHavePurpose#NRCHealthFeelConnected

👨🎓 Hats off to my little brother, fresh out of high school, eagerly packing his bags for University of Tennessee! As the elder sibling, this moment gives me a mix of pride and nostalgia. 🌭 Memorial Day weekend - sure, it's about BBQs, family gatherings, and the beginning of summer. But let's not forget, it's also a day of remembrance. 🕰️ It got me thinking - what if we apply this concept to our career pursuits? Just like how we don't have to wait for Memorial Day to appreciate and remember our heroes, we don't have to wait until college graduation to plunge into the real world and kickstart our careers.📝 Look at my kid brother. As he dives into textbooks and jumbles his schedule around classes, he'll also be finding ways to engage with his field of interest. He'll be navigating the uncharted territories of internships, building relationships, and who knows, maybe even starting a side hustle. 🌳 The old saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now. I'd say, the best time to start building your career was yesterday, the second best time is today.📌 So here's to my brother, and all the future leaders out there. Make the most of your time at college, but remember, your journey towards your career starts now.#StartToday #UniversityofTennessee #MemorialDay #CareerJourney #BrotherlyAdvice #MakingItReal
