We must double down and prioritize three key areas for students to achieve financial empowerment: access to no-cost financial education for students and families; access to financial services; and access to mentors, scholarships, internships, and other career-focused connections. In this Fortune OpEd, EVERFI Co-Founders Tom Davidson and Ray Martinez share insights into how public and private sectors can work together to support students' lifelong financial well-being.

This is a great example of inclusive organizational #leadership! While it’s not always possible to fly every FTE to every event, I applaud the 49ers for setting an example here — especially in the era of hyper-segmentation and favoritism amongst teams. Finding a way to acknowledge the contribution of all employees, whenever possible, goes a long way toward reducing silos, decreasing intra-office resentment, creating healthy workplace culture, and motivating folks to do their best work. #Superbowl #inclusion #culture #belonging

I'll be honest, I don't know if this is typical or not - my gut says no - but this is clearly a company that truly believes each of those people is part of the San Francisco 49ers team. They don't play on the field, but this shows these individuals that you believe their work helped the team accomplish its goals. And while I could be wrong, something tells me they do more things like this that we don't hear about. #teamwork #leadership #teamdevelopment #culture

During National Intern Day last month, I could work on an Instagram project creating stories for 3 days and a Reel for the @maspethfederalsavings Instagram, all aimed to showcase a more personal side of our company.I could conduct interactive interviews with 15 of our interns, asking them a mix of fun personal and insightful professional questions to create a wholesome image of our work environment. If you are interested, you can check out the reel that I shared below where our MFS interns share their perspective about the company. It's always exciting for me to jump into new social media projects like this one!#SocialMedia #Marketing

I should add that these are PAID internships. Not only does this make our internships accessible to those who can’t afford to work for free, there is a noticeable difference in the quality and consistency of their work over the span of the semester. It is a lot easier to give more to an organization when they are compensating you for your time. At the very least, I believe we need to be paying interns enough to cover the indirect expenses that come with a job (gas, meals, clothing, etc.).

RBC Summer 2024 roles are Live!!! All the #finance #businessintelligence #softwaredeveloper #data people, Dont sleep on these opportunities. Here are some DO's and Dont's. ✅ Tailor your resume for specific job posting, highlighting your skills and experiences. ✅ Must add a career highlight section on the top with 2-3 bullet pointers positioning you for the job. ✅ Demonstrate a good fit to the organisation, go through the about section of the company and skim through for a better understanding .✅ No Experience? no problem, showcase your projects and extra curricular activities (such as volunteering or certificate). ✅ Apply as soon as possible, resumes get screened on day to day basis. ❌ Dont just apply to all or any job postings, stick to a domain or an area of expertise i.e. Tech and Non-Tech roles. Applying to all positions might come out wrong to the recruiters, which will lower your chances of getting selected. All the best!! If i missed any point, keep the conversation going in comment section. #rbc #coop #internship #student #humbercollege #dataanalytics #businessanalytics #data #finance #acccounting #communication #softwaredeveloper #uiux
